I've always loved Southern shores from the time they've opened! I've also never had a bad experience. The vibes have always been good and the food has always been great! Tonight we had Drea as our waitress and she was wonderful! Food wise this time I had the fried crawfish tails with mac n cheese and cheese grits. We usually get the appetizer and I never realized you could get as a well but I finally paid attention to the menu and saw it on there. Not much more to say other than I always highly recommend this place!
Love love this place. Excellent food and service. They just need to turn up the AC. One can hang meat in there. Customer comfort!! Told the waitress and that's as far as it went. So make sure you have a jacket or you'll freeze!!
I have no complaints! Food was great! Service was great!! I was traveling through and decided to stop. They did not disappoint!!! My dad was with me and he's super picky and he loved it!! The vibe is giving dinner on a Sunday afternoon in the country!!!
We went for my birthday, the waitress was really good and the grilled shrimp was perfectly seasoned. This was our first time ever eating there can not say enough about the staff and the manager. He even wished me a Happy Birthday. Will go back and truly enjoyed the whole experience.
A delightful find while spending the night in the area. Everything exceeded our expectations. A seafood dip and crackers were brought out after being seated. Great! The flounder was lightly breaded and light.4 nice size pieces. One side was clam chowder ( a slight upgrade) and a salad. Also a slight upgrade. Both great choices. The low country boil was pretty good until the peel and eat shrimp, which was slightly off with odor and taste. Manager explained possible reasons and quickly replaced them with fresh and delicious shrimp. Would definitely return when in area again.

The food was amazing. The portions that were received were amazing and were fulfilling. I recommend stopping here at Southern Shores Seafood as the food is amazing. The sauce with the red chilis in it is amazing and can go with everything including your fries. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service here was excellent with the waiter coming around and making sure we were good and that we were sat down subsequently after we stepped into the restaurant. The ambience of the restaurant is modern with a seafood vibe to it. The sauce can be bought in store for 6 dollars. I really recommend stopping by here and getting a bite to eat.
Returned for 2nd time this year and did not disappoint. Seated quickly and drink orders were almost immediately taken. We had fried green tomatoes and fried pickle as appetizers both were crispy and crunchy enjoyed both. Wife ordered coconut shrimp off of the appetizer menu $9.99 came with 10-12 butterflied shrimp coated in coconut and the Pina colada dipping sauce was amazing. I ordered the Alabama catfish fingers with cheese grits and fried okra as the sides. The catfish was crunchy and cooked perfectly, the cheese grits were excellent and very cheesy the best I've eaten and fried okra was cooked very well and crunchy enjoyed the meal and will definitely be back !!!!!
This place is amazing!! Great customer service- food is always on point. The price point is great as well- we usually eat her once a week. Deviled crabs are delicious..
